Welcome to the National Human Trafficking Education Centre – a unique online hub offering educational resources to help Canadians understand and fight human trafficking.
We believe that education is the greatest weapon to combat human trafficking.
By learning about human trafficking, you can: • Learn who’s at risk and the signs of human trafficking • Know what actions to take if you suspect someone is at risk or being trafficked • Have conversations with your friends and family to raise awareness and stop this crime from happening to them
All courses and workshops are provided for free. The Centre’s programs are delivered in-person, online or through workshops.
A variety of courses are offered which are intended for different audiences including youth, parents, educators, survivors, social workers, front line responders, medical professionals and those working in the justice system.
By registering you agree to all copyrights and you agree to not copy, record or distribute course material without the written permission of the Joy Smith Foundation.
